  • » What is Weight-By-Date?
Weight-By-Date is an easy-to-use weight loss program that runs on any Windows PC. You don't have to be online to use it and it's totally private.

Think of it as a food diary, nutrition calculator, weight tracker, fitness log, health monitor, and personal motivator — all neatly organized on your PC.
  • » How Does it Work?
One of the healthiest, most effective ways to lose weight is to track your progress. Track what you eat, what you weigh, and what you do for exercise.

That's how Weight-By-Date works. It opens your eyes, so you can see what you're doing wrong (and right). It's motivating and user-friendly, so you look forward to using it every day.

There aren't any gimmicks or false promises — just good common-sense in a high-tech tool.
  • » How Much is it?
Believe it or not, Weight-By-Date costs as little as $14.99 — a perfect fit for any budget. $57.99 gets you free support and one year of free upgrades.

You won't have any monthly or weekly fees to deal with either. Plus, Weight-By-Date doesn't pretend to be free, only to bombard you with e-mails and advertisements after you sign-up.
  • » Will it Run on My PC?
If you have a PC running Microsoft Windows, then that's all you need. Weight-By-Date works great on all modern versions of Windows, including Windows 7, Vista, and XP.

You don't need a lot of memory or space on your hard drive. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit PCs. Installation is fast and easy.

  • How do I enter my weight into the calendar?

Entering your weight into the calendar is easy. First click on a date and you'll see a blinking cursor. Then just type in your weight. When you're through, hit Enter, Tab, or click on another day and the weight will be saved automatically. The statistics above will update automatically, along with the weekly loss (to the right) and monthly loss (below).

  • How can I change my Projection date at the top of the program window?

The Projection field is actually a calculated field based on your weight loss data. So, it cannot be changed directly. Instead, it gets re-calculated each time you enter a new weight in the calendar. It also gets more accurate as you enter more weights.

Please note: the Projection above the calendar is not related to the date in the Goal Planner tool.

  • My Projection Date (above the calendar) is far into the future. Will it really take that long to hit my goal?

The Projection date is calculated based on the amount of weight that you have lost and your current weight loss pace. When you are just starting out, you may only have a few weights recorded into the calendar and the Projection is far into the future. This is simply because it is too early yet for the program to project your target date.

As with any statistical calculation, more data yields more accurate results, so try recording some future weights into the calendar and watch your projection change dramatically. Once you are convinced that everything is working correctly, simply delete the future data that you have entered.

  • Why are some of the statistics above the calendar showing "---"?

In some cases your statistical values will be empty. For example, if you have not lost any weight, the program cannot determine how many Lbs/Week you have lost or project a date for when you will reach your goal.

As often as you feel comfortable. Weight-By-Date Pro does not require you to record your weight each day and will not fabricate data for days that you have missed.
