I'm getting Error Number: 429 "ActiveX component can't create object" on the PC.
More than likely, some important system files were removed from your PC when you uninstalled something else. This is not all that uncommon. The solution is to download and install Weight-By-Date Pro again so the files can be restored.

I've just downloaded the software and get a "not a valid Win32 application" error.
This error means the entire install file is not being downloaded completely (despite what your web browser is telling you). Windows does not recognize what type of file it is because the last little piece of the file is missing.
When this happens, it's almost always with customers using AOL. We're not sure what the AOL network is doing differently, so we can't share much insight there, but we can provide a solution.
You will need to delete the "wbd_pro.exe" (or "wprsetup.exe" for the trial) file that you've downloaded and start the download again. Hopefully your web browser will retrieve the entire file this time, but if not, please let us know and we'll give you an alternate download that solves your problem.

I just installed the program (after using the free trial) and get a "Database File Missing" error.
This unusual error means the program had a problem copying your data file from the trial version of Weight-By-Date Pro. Windows is preventing the file from being copied, for reasons unknown, but the solution is easy. You'll need to copy the trial data file manually:
1. Use the My Computer icon to browse to the following folder on your PC:
For Windows XP: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Weight By Date Pro\Trial"
For Windows Vista: "C:\Users\Public\Weight By Date Pro\Trial"
2. In this folder, look for a file called "wbd.dat" (or you may just see it as "wbd").
3. Click once on this file and hit Control-C on your keyboard. This will make a copy of the file.
4. Now go back one folder so that you are just in "Weight By Date Pro".
5. Hit Control-V on your keyboard. The data file should be pasted into this folder.
6. Now start Weight-By-Date Pro from the shortcut on your desktop and you should see that your trial data has been imported.

I get a "Could Not Open Database" error (Error Number 3633, 3051, or 3011).
This error message may also say "Can't load DLL: MSJTER35.DLL" (or another similar DLL) and has a variety of similar error numbers (3633, 3051, 3011, etc). The solution is the same in all cases.
This error means that there are some system files missing from your PC. This probably happened when you when you uninstalled something else. Usually this can be fixed by reinstalling Weight-By-Date Pro.

When using the "Program Updates" option in Weight-By-Date Pro, I get a "Download error [404] Resource not found." error.
This confusing error message actually means that there was something wrong with the e-mail address or last name as you entered it into the Program Updates window. Please check to ensure that the last name and e-mail address that you are trying matches what we have on file for you. If your e-mail address has changed, click here to change your e-mail address in our system.

I just installed the program and now I can't get to my Program Options or Profiles.
This strange little problem occurs for some people. Here's how to correct the problem:
1. Uninstall all instances of Weight-By-Date Pro (including the Trial version if it's installed) using the "Add/Remove Programs" option in your Control Panel. Don't worry, as long as you do it this way, all of your current data will still be there when you reinstall.
2. Reboot your computer.
3. Reinstall the full version of Weight-By-Date Pro. If you need to download it again from our site, please refer to the "Order Confirmation" e-mail that you received after your order.
4. Reboot your computer again and then open Weight-By-Date Pro when it comes back up. You should be able to get to your Profiles window now, and any other windows that were not coming up before.

I get a "Database File Corrupt" error when starting the program.
Don't panic. The data file can get corrupted when you have a system crash or when the system is rebooted suddenly while the program is open. All you have to do is send us your data file -- 95% of the time we are able to repair it for you quite easily.

I sometimes get a "Component SSCALA32.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered" error.
More than likely, the calendar system files were removed from your PC when you uninstalled something else. To solve the problem and restore these important files, you will need to download and install Weight-By-Date Pro again.
