  • How do I install the upgrade/update on my PC?

    After purchasing the upgrade you will need to download version 3.0 and run the file to install it. To download, you can use the button provided after your order or refer to your Order Confirmation e-mail.

    Your existing Weight-By-Date data (if any) will be imported and converted during the process.

  • Can I install the upgrade on more than one PC?

    Sure, you can install the program to any PC in your household, as long as they are PCs that you own. There is no additional charge.

  • Can I keep my data from the old version?

    Absolutely. Weight-By-Date upgrades all of your previous data, so you won't lose anything that you have already recorded.

  • If I upgrade, will the old version still work?

    Yes -- the upgrade installs into a different folder, so the old version will still work (using your old data).

  • Is there an upgrade for Weight-By-Date Mobile too?

    Not yet. We're currently working on a new Smartphone version of Weight-By-Date. Please note that if you upgrade your PC to version 3.0, it will NOT synchronize with the older version on your PDA/phone.

  • Will version 3.0 sync with my old Weight-By-Date Mobile?

    No, Weight-By-Date Pro 3.0 won't synchronize with the older Mobile version. It will sync with the new Mobile solution, though (when it's ready).

  • Do I need the previous version on my PC in order to install the upgrade?

    No, the old version doesn't need to be installed, but you will need your old License Key, which you can look up here. If you want to retain any previous data, you either need a backup (created with Weight-By-Date's Backup Data feature) or have the previous version installed.
