Solving Registration Problems

Registering your copy of Weight-By-Date means access to free updates and customer support in case you happen to have a problem. You are asked to register when you install the software. Here are some solutions to the most common problems when registering.

Registration requires a connection to the internet, so if you can't register, then obviously that should be the first thing you check. You will need to register from each PC where you want to obtain program updates.
 

How to find your Software License Key

Your License Key is required to register the program. If you ordered Weight-By-Date directly from us, then the first place to check is the Order Confirmation e-mail that you received (if you still have it). If you bought the CD-ROM from us, then check the printed receipt that came with your shipment. If you bought Weight-By-Date from a reseller, check your CD case.

You can also use our online tool to find your License Key. If all else fails, you can contact us directly. We may need some proof of purchase (i.e copy of your e-mail, receipt, or credit card statement), especially if you did not buy Weight-By-Date directly from us.
 

How to Register if You Skipped it During Program Installation

No problem -- just download and run our standalone registration tool.
 

Error Messages After You Click the "Complete Registration" Button

After you click the "Complete Registration" button, the program tries to open your web browser so it can finish the process on our web site. If your web browser can't be opened, then you will probably get an error message of some type. Here's what to do:

1. Download and run our standalone registration tool.
    
2. Fill out your registration information and click Complete Registration (if your web browser opens and you get the "Thank You" page, then you can stop here -- you're done). Otherwise move on to the next step.
    
3. You should now have an icon in your Start Menu that can complete the registration:
   
   In Windows XP, Click Start -> All Programs -> Weight By Date Pro -> Register Weight By Date.
   In Vista, Click Start ->Weight By Date Pro -> Register Weight By Date.
   
   Your web browser should open and you should get the "Thank You" page.  If not, then contact us and we'll complete your registration.

 
If You Didn't Receive Your Confirmation E-Mail After Registering...

Could you by any chance have a junk mail (SPAM) filter that is preventing the e-mail from coming through?  If so, then check your e-mail account's Junk folder. If you still don't see the e-mail, then don't worry about it.  It's just a simple confirmation and as long as you got the "Thank" You page in your web browser, then you know you're registered.
